Course Summary
There are a total of 74,260 ICD-10-CM codes available for use in FY 2025 code set with 252 new, 36 deleted, and 13 revised codes for patient encounters occurring on or after October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025.
It's risky to rely on EMR code selection, and failure to code to the highest degree of specificity negatively affects reimbursement and utilization statistics. Advance preparation will ensure your team is informed of the new codes and requirements. Learn how the 2025 code set changes may impact your claims beginning October 1.
