Enroll in the CMOM certification program online and get certified on your schedule. This program includes:
  • A series of instructor-led webinar sessions
  • A digital course manual with workbook exercises
  • Printable end-of-module quizzes with answer keys
  • Live instructor-led group study sessions
  • One-on-one faculty support sessions available

Supplementary materials are not required for this program. Registered students can access the recordings online for up to six months after the original purchase date.

Exam (included with enrollment)

  • 100 question, online proctored three-hour certification exam.
  • A score of 70% or better is required to earn the CMOM certification. If the candidate does not achieve a passing grade on the first attempt, he/she may re-test for an additional fee.

Experienced professionals may choose to challenge the CMOM online exam. Complete the Exam Request Form ($375 exam challenge fee applies if not enrolled in CMOM course.)

Kem Tolliver, CMPE, CMC, CMOM

For over 20 years, Kem has provided strategic and operational leadership to medical practices and hospitals. As a national and regional SME, Kem also develops and delivers educational content to industry leadership. She is the co-author of MGMA®'s “Revenue Cycle Management: Don’t Get Lost in the Financial Maze” and created and delivered MGMA's first-ever Revenue Cycle Management Certificate program.


Jan Hailey has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare. She is proficient in administration, coding, and billing roles, and teaches medical office professionals around the country how to excel in their careers. During her expansive career, she served as Saint Joseph Health System's Care Management Director where she developed a documentation improvement program and a Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) coding education program to predict future healthcare utilization by accurately reporting patient complexity.


Linda has more than 30 years of medical administrative experience. She has led offices for a number of specialties with broad responsibilities in business and clinical operations, as well as financial, HR, customer service, information systems management, and compliance. She has also served as an Independent Review Organization (IRO) for the Office of the Inspector General and consulted for the Texas Medical and Dental Boards.

Candidates for CMOM certification should have a minimum of one year of medical office experience.
